Space-
Tried-and-true variety for all seasons. Fast-growing, medium-green leaves are smooth to slightly savoyed
Red Snapper-
Red-veined, baby-leaf spinach is characterized by its unique leaf shape, with deeply lobed, dark green leaves and vibrant red petioles and veins. Its appearance is reminiscent of arugula or Italian dandelion. When sowing this spinach variety, it is recommended to plant the seeds densely in order to promote upright growth and facilitate easy harvesting. This spinach is cold tolerant, making it suitable for winter tunnel production. Despite the colder temperatures, the baby size of the leaves is maintained while they continue to grow densely. It is typically harvested once in spring and summer due to the increased likelihood of bolting. However, there is also potential for a cut-and-come-again harvest during the fall and winter seasons.
