Brandywine tomatoes are one of the oldest heirloom tomato varieties and have been cultivated for more than a century. These tomatoes are quite large in size, weighing up to 1 ½ pounds and have a slightly sugary taste. They are pink in colour and take 100 days to mature, after being transplanted. If they are grown in a place with plenty of sunlight and warmth, the indeterminate vines can grow to a height of 9 feet.
